‘Little Miracles’ Playgroup offers a safe, calm, and friendly environment for children from birth to school-age to play and interact with other young children.
Our playgroup is registered with PlaygroupSA and is listed as a ‘Play Together’ playgroup, which means that families and children from all different backgrounds and needs can play and feel that they belong.
There is a large emphasis on free play, giving the children an opportunity each week to choose, experience, and learn at their own pace. Children are also invited to take part in some group time where we sing songs, read stories and move our bodies.
Tea, coffee and light snacks, including fruit for the children, are provided. Our playgroup is a nut-free, smoke-free zone and we are in coherence with the SA Government’s ongoing COVID management guidelines.
Helping with Playgroup
We are currently looking for parent and/or grandparent volunteers to help with various simple, light tasks during our playgroup sessions. If this is an area you think you’d like to help in, please read through the Parent Involvement information if you’re not already a volunteer with the school, and contact the Front Office.
Venue: Saint Spyridon College: 52 Oxford Terrace, Unley
Time: Every Thursday during the school terms – 9:30-11:00am
Fees: $3 per session ($5 for two children or more)
Registration: No pre-registration required. This can be done upon your first visit.
Our Team: Our wonderful facilitators and helpers are all members of our college community. They are a team of volunteers who all have their own young children and have a heart for learning through play and giving their ‘little miracles’ opportunities for positive social interaction. All have their current Government of South Australia Working With Children Checks.
